Linette Molina Dofflemyer
I am a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Va. where I received my B.A. in Spanish and a Masters of Teaching in Secondary Education. After graduation from VCU and prior to entering the teaching profession I lived in Spain and immersed myself in the Spanish culture. I am certified by the State of Virginia to instruct Spanish in private and public schools grades pre-k through 12.
I currently reside in Charlottesville, VA with my husband, our 4 year old daughter, two cats, Hokie and Mary J and our Labrador Retriever, Wheezy.
Prior to the birth of our daughter, I taught high school Spanish in Chesterfield County Va. for 8 yrs. I have tutored students of all ages and levels for the past 10 years. In addition to operating Charlottesville Spanish Services, I also teach Spanish to pre-schoolers, ages 2-6. Your child will benefit from my vast experience in teaching Spanish to children and adults, in groups and in private tutoring. I am deeply committed to continued learning and development in the Spanish language field. My translation experience includes translation of, manuals, technical web pages, professional conference addresses, marketing materials, correspondence and reports. You will quickly learn that I have a tremendous amount of passion for the Spanish language. I take great pride in the fact that I possess excellent communication skills and I am people oriented with a sense of humor and strong family values. I try to make each and every student feel comfortable with the learning process and encourage ongoing interaction.
